Canada’s leaders in sustainable West Coast design and construction recently celebrated their projects at the 2019 CARE Awards.
Project of the Year – Single Family was awarded to Falcon Heights Contracting, Ryan Hoyt Designs and Mari Kushino Design for Elements.
Project of the Year-Multi-Family went to McLaren Properties for Seahaven.
The popular People’s Choice Award was won by Shane Murray Contracting for Enchanting.
The event is as much about celebrating people as the projects.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to David Dare, Roads’End Contractiing for many years of leadership in award-winning, energy efficient construction.
The Building Better Futures Community Award was presented to Mike Geric Construction for innovation, affordability and contribution to the community.
Jason Good, Jason Good Custom Cabinets won the Bill Wansbrough Memorial Award for leadership in charitable giving.
Green Builder of the Year was awarded to Falcon Heights Contracting for energy efficiency by Built Green Canada.
The Student Design Award was presented to Alyson Wheeldon, which includes $500 from the Victoria Residential Builders Association.
Gold winners will be featured in the Times Colonist and www.careawards.ca.
